Lipstick is my favorite thing to wear on my lips, but when I’m not wearing it, I like to wear things that are easy and quick to apply, but still give me some color so I still look polished and pulled together.
If it’s moisturizing and good for my lips too, even better! Here’s my round up of my favorite balms and good for you lip favorites.

clinique chubby sticks

Clinique Chubby sticks

I love these for the applicator, which swivels the product like a lipbalm, and makes it easy to use and it doesn’t take up much space in my purse. The colors are sheer, free of sparkels, and full of moisture thanks to mango and shea butters. I can truly say that these leave my lips feeling better after I use it.

Fresh- Sugar lip balm in Passion

Fresh Passion Sugar Lip Treatment

This stuff is so luxurious and beneficial. It’s the only lip balm with sunscreen that I have ever found that doesn’t have an overwhelming sun screen taste. Plus the color is a beautiful sheer red, it’s amazing stuff!

Weleda Everon lip balm

Weleda- Everon Lip Balm

Ok, so have you figured out that I LOVE shea butter? This is what I apply before bed every night. It’s very “balm-y” so it stays put and I wake up with soft lips. It’s great for winter, if you have dry, cracked lips I swear this can heal them overnight. It’s that fast. The fact it’s so thick and not glossy or shiny also means that it makes a great base for applying lipstick. Just apply, wait a minute, blot and apply lipstick.

Absinthe Lips

I picked up this tasty little tin at Birdies Lingerie & Swim Boutique. It’s made by For Strange Women, who have an Etsy store for those who can’t pick it up somewhere local. They also make lots of other yummy products as well. The name of this balm is intriguing and the tin reminds me of a strawberry balm that came in a gold tin as a kid that I was obsessed with. This stuff smells like black licorice, or Absinthe as the case may be, and it’s packed with all natural stuff like almond, coconut and avocado oils, vitamin e, and shea butter to keep your kisser ready for anything. Lip pencils glide over it nicely too, so it makes a good lipstick base. Yum yum.

That’s it for this week, but next week Pucker Up will be back with glosses, because yeah, sometimes I just want a good gloss! Leave me a comment and let me know your favorite lip balms or moisturizing lip products, I always love hearing what other people are obsessed with!
