This is so Blade Runner. LOVE!

Hello lovelies!
This week has been really good in several ways and really hard in others. It started out with a fun afternoon at Birdies on Sunday, where I got to hang and shop with friends, make new friends and help with pretty window displays! Monday I heard some sad news from a friend, which has been on my mind all week. Tuesday I had a meeting with people who might be important to me reaching some goals. I also rearranged what lives in what closet this week, and in the process cleared out enough stuff I don’t want anymore that I was able to give my husband 3 more dresser drawers. Zowie!
Wednesday I got to go to Lawrence and had dinner with the lovely, talented and professional Rachael Major of Atomic Photography. We also checked out retro inspired goodies at Star Struck Clothing’s new boutique (photo below)! Today is my office’s holiday party. I’ve been good all week so I am looking forward to indulging a little today!
Star Struck Clothing was so cute! It’s right off Massachusetts’s Street in Lawrence, on 8th. Leslie carries her own vintage inspired designs as well as several well-known retro brands including Bettie Page Clothing! I got a pair of high-waisted cigarette pants I’d seen at one of their stores in Las Vegas — but they have since put them on sale! Mwahahahaha!
And now for some links!
- If you’ve got a dream, chase it! Don’t let your capabilities dictate the possibilities. This was perfect for me this week, because I am definitely stretching beyond my comfort zone right now.
- Yeah I tweeted it but it’s worth posting again. Women need to quit apologizing for everything.
- Can anyone resist Clooney’s swagger?
I’m digging the sheer skirt thing going on above.
I think I have two things I can layer to get the same look, but this beauty can be found here.
This is pretty funny.
- The purrrfect wedge.
- I finally finished Bossypants this week. It really is as good as everyone promised, and made me love Tina Fey even more.
- This girl has a cool room.
- I just got this in the mail in Taupe Craze, and trust me, taupe has never been so fun. I followed the tips in the little booklet that’s included to create a fun look for my holiday party today!
- I was browsing vintage rhinestone jewelry on Etsy, and found this, this and this! Swoon!
