The last few weeks have been pretty awesome. Several exciting opportunities have come my way, and I feel more and more that I am heading in the right direction. It’s a wonderful feeling. I did a little shopping over the holiday weekend, but mostly did things around our home, and hung out with friends, which was exactly what I needed. I’ve compiled some cool things this week, but first, an announcement!
On Sunday, December 11th I’ll be co-hosting a Holiday Shopping & Wrap Party
with the ladies of Birdies lingerie and swim boutique from noon to 5 p.m.
The ladies will be expertly wrapping your purchases and I will be drawing one lucky shopper as the winner of a Panty of the Month Club membership! Also, they have new retro-inspired lingerie from the Secrets in Lace Bettie Page line, and I’ve got to say, it’s affordable and beautiful! Birdies carries cup sizes beyond a DD, plus other goodies like hosiery, and cozy and cute flannel PJs — all from independent designers. Enjoy shopping for yourself or for gifts as you sip apricot mimosas and snack on mini cupcakes! I had such a great time at their recent Chandelier Party, so I hope I will see you for some lingerie shopping fun on December 11th!

I am beyond obsessed with these Fables by Barrie Penny Capri Pants! Barrie was so amazing when I met her in August at Market; I am blown away by this woman’s creativity. I would wear these with a long-line bra and cropped cardigan unbuttoned just enough. Want, want, want!!! They also come in red! They’re kind of the ultimate bad-girl britches!
- OPI has a special collection of colors for the new Muppet movie. Meep-Meep-Meep” and “Gone Gonzo” are my favorite shades.

Can’t wait for the party! It’s on my calendar. You had me at apricot mimosas! It’s been too long since I shopped at Birdies.
