A couple we’re friends with took us to dinner at a local French restaurant, and I decided it was time to debut a dress I’ve had for a year. It’s vintage, and the tag says “Quality Hill” in a script that looks 1950′s, but I haven’t done any research. The matching belt has a Good Housekeeping seal on the back so I was going to try to date it from that. The GH logo has changed a lot over the years so it’s actually a decent way to date things. I didn’t wear the original belt because it hasn’t weathered as well as the dress, which is practically pristine. I love how well it fits, the real shell buttons, it has pockets, and the kick pleats in the back! I feel like a gangster moll, maybe it’s the stripes. Whatever, I’m so excited to have this dress in my rotation now!
